I really admire Daryn Kagan. To have been one of the few women on the national stage in the 1990’s covering sports at CNN, and then to seamlessly transition back to hard news as a CNN anchor? Just incredible — what an experience those years must have been. Traveling the world, and then to be on the air liv eon CNN the morning of Sept. 11th? I remember it well. Not too many people have had that kind of life with those experiences. I can’t wait to learn more about her career reinvention and her brand of inspiring news stories.
